The best flight routes to Languedoc

By October 16, 2018PRACTICAL, TO KNOW

Languedoc is an up and coming region and a perfect destination if you are looking for blue seas, beautiful beaches, historic towns, picturesque villages, amazing nature and of course some of the best food and wine of France. Lonely Planet selected Languedoc-Roussillon as the 4th region in the world (!) to visit in 2018. La Ramoneta completely agrees!

Beautiful region

If you are planning to come and visit our beautiful and diverse region by plane, there are plentiful possibilities. Many airlines, budget ones included, have found their way to the South of France. The main airports down south are Toulouse and Montpellier, but there are smaller airports that are worth considering. Béziers, Carcassonne, Nîmes, Perpignan all offer flights within Europe. Although Marseille is not in Languedoc, it can have some interesting connections. Even Girona in Spain is a good option, especially if you’d like to rent a car, as rates are considerably lower in Spain.

Below you will find an overview of – direct-only – flight destinations to Languedoc that I have put together. It’s quite a long list, as I tried to be as complete as possible. You will find all the international cities and the main French ones that are connected to each airport. Most airlines offer weekly flights, from one to several times a week (mentioned in the WEEKLY column). I didn’t mention the exact days; it’s best to check the airline’s website for this. The airlines that offer daily flights are mentioned in the DAILY column. If you click on the images of each overview below, you’ll be able to see an enlarged version of it. Hope this helps you to plan your trip to Languedoc. See you soon?
