TO SLEEP | HOTEL
Last week, chéri surprised me with a romantic getaway. The fabulous four-star L’Hotel Particulier in Béziers pampered us for two whole days. It was great from the very start we entered the beautiful late 19th-century mansion full of history! After a warm welcome in the serene and very tastefully decorated salon “Coté Sud”, we immediately felt at home.
Chéri and I had the pleasure to sleep in one of the “Folies”, a very spacious and luminous room. Here also the contemporary interior design is spot on, with the magnificent hanging lamp Vertigo by Petite Friture as a real eye-catcher. The room has a bubbling jacuzzi in the corner and a comfortable bathroom with XXL shower. Bathrobe, slippers, an espresso machine in the room, and many other thoughtful gestures make your stay a wonderful experience.
Before we went to have dinner in Béziers at restaurant Le Petit Pierre, a suggestion of the hotel (post will follow), we enjoyed our apéro in the very pleasant garden. A true oasis of peace and quietness, only a few minutes from the bustling centre of booming Béziers. Since a few years, this rough diamond of the south is getting polished more and more. Things are buzzing here, well worth a trip!
Eye for details
After a good night’s rest in the heavenly kingsize bed, we went down to the garden for a wonderful breakfast. Local products selected with care combined with the most divine homemade baked goodies. The gluten-free brownie is to die for, and literally melts in your mouth. The owners Chrystele Crouton and Florence Boucard have an excellent eye for details! So if you are planning a trip to Béziers, L’Hotel Particulier is the perfect place to stay. And if you didn’t plan a trip, start planning it now. You won’t be disappointed!
